Located on the edge of the Gower Peninsula in Swansea, South Wales, The Mirador is a superb bespoke hotel where each room is individually designed to reflect a place, feeling and even a mood. So no matter what the purpose of your stay, be it business, on holiday, or just visiting friends and family; you’ll find your room at The Mirador both unique and distinctive.
It is a place you will want to come back to time and time again, not just because of the rooms and the variety of themes they offer, but because you were made to feel like more than just a guest.

This room is situated on the ground floor. It is suitable for both business trips and romantic breaks. Designed to be modern yet with a sense of Roman style, this room is bright and welcoming. The en suite complements the room as the theme carries through to the bathroom that is shrouded in grape vines. The Mirador is therefore proud to offer this room with its classical designs, soft tones and matching bed coverings. This is a ground floor room with easy access to and from the entrance. It also has a floor to ceiling bay window providing lots of natural light.
By far the most dramatic room we have. The unique style of this double room means that it is suitable for both pleasure and business trips. This is a colourful room with a spacious en suite to match. It has an open awareness that was built into its design, where the walls just seem to open outward to reveal the setting, and what a setting it is! Its warmth can be felt all around the room and features individually controlled soft lighting. As a ground floor room, it boasts easy access to and from the entrance. It has a large bathroom window but no main window to the room itself, leaving it dark and peaceful at night; a favourite amongst business travellers.
The call of the wild set amongst a backdrop of wild elephants, this double en suite room captures the feelings associated with this vast continent. Situated at the rear of the property, the room enjoys large French doors, letting in plenty of natural light. Because of its position, it is naturally dark and peaceful at night; another favourite amongst business travellers. There are many authentic pieces of African furniture, carvings and paintings waiting to be discovered. When you enter this room, have a close look around, there is a lot to see and feel.
This room is by nature the warmest as the sun regularly pours through its large bay window; its theme therefore had to reflect this. This bedroom also has the feel of the great outdoors within its own walls, for hidden behind its Mediterranean mural is the en-suite bathroom. Situated on the first floor, at the front of the property, this room is naturally warm. The large bay window provides lots of natural light, whilst the spacious, modern Mediterranean bathroom completes the facilities.
This is one of 2 main suites and like its counterpart, it occupies the whole top floor. The bedroom is both considerable in size and generous in its own distinctive atmosphere. The room and the bathroom are fitting for the needs of a King, or for those who just wish to spoil themselves a little! There is a separate stairway leading to the Egyptian suite, where your introduction into this unique ancient culture begins. Once inside you will find pyramid furniture and a pyramid mural that stretches right across one wall. There are books on ancient Egypt, pictures and much more. Needless to say, as with all the other rooms the bedding is in keeping with the room's identity. Only here it is almost impossible not to dream of being a part of ancient Egypt when lying wrapped in Egyptian hieroglyphs. With the whole of the top floor to call your own, the suite also boasts a large black leather sofa, King-size four-poster bed, huge bathroom and a host of little extras.
Welcome to our Ghost Room for all single occupancy guests whether for business or leisure. The Mirador Ghost Room is precisely that. In other words, it doesn't exist. It is here just to let you know that all rooms at The Mirador are double or king size suites and that you could end up in any one of our fantastic rooms. Spooky it may be, but at least you will have a good night's sleep.
This is the second and largest of the suite rooms, with a whole floor to call your own. Like the Egyptian Suite, it has its own entrance. Leading from a downstairs lobby and moving up the stairs: on your left is the master bedroom with a king-size platform bed amongst a treasure of Chinese artefacts, including a full-size mother of pearl screen and an ornate writing desk. If you were to turn right at the top of the stairs then you would find your very own lounge complete with a comfy sofa, a large widescreen TV, the not so usual complements tray and many more Chinese artefacts. Then, of course, there is your bathroom, complete with bath and shower. All of this is complemented by a host of little extra touches.
This en suite double room has its very own private roof terrace, making it unique. Large French doors lead outside where you will find wooden patio furniture upon natural decking .The whole area is fenced off, turning it into a lovely private seating area. Decorated in subtle tones of apple green and white, the room’s shabby-chic interior is bright and clean, yet still retains a sense of cosiness and well-being. The room features fantastic furniture throughout and the bed is an upholstered Corbeille Louis XV double bed, even the en suite bathroom features a walk-in power shower and Louis XV furnishings. This room features a generous and personalised complimentary hospitality tray with tea/coffee making facilities. The room has a white, flat wide-screen TV with built-in DVD player and Freeview digital channels. All in all, this is a fabulous room, lovingly put together and offered at a fantastic rate.
From the m4, take Junction 42 towards Swansea City Centre. Drive past Sainsbury's on your left and turn right at Tesco. Continue 300 metres to a small roundabout and turn left. Continue 500 metres to traffic lights. Bare right into Brynymor Road. Continue 300 metres uphill to the next junction. Mirador Crescent is straight over this junction. We are situated just around the bend on the right. A taxi from Swansea Station costs around 3.50 GBP.
